"Item is as expected. For price it is a great pole but cannot handle more than about 10-15 mph. Had mine at the beach in steady 20 mph winds and it broke. It was a few years old though so got my moneys worth. Also if it is raining, need to bring it in. While it is covered by hardened plastic, the inside appears made of soft wood and if wet will weaken pole. If you want an all weather go with different pole. If you want the Chevy vs. the Cadi, this will serve you well."
